We work principally through networking and many of our candidates are not even considering a career move when we approach them. Although we do not rely on databases to churn out a list of candidates and often outdated resumes, we do track those we have previously engaged – they become a part of our network. Our research-based outreach approach is fundamentally different from the ‘pull’ approach of advertising campaigns and job boards.

Interim managers rarely enjoy the luxury of a ‘break-in’ period – they must perform 100% from day one. This takes a special breed of executive and almost all successful interim managers have developed their own individual approach to assignments. We rarely recommend ‘first time interims’ as our clients do not expect to pay for the learning curve. We do maintain close contact with our very best interim managers and network through them (as well as other channels) to research experienced candidates for new interim assignments.
